DBGomez is a New Mexico–based accordionist and songwriter known for his distinctive “Squeezebox Americana” sound—a roots-driven blend of early jazz, backroad country, Cajun rhythms, and desert-born groove.
A seasoned performer, DBGomez has appeared at major regional events including the New Mexico State Fair, Westside Summer Fest, Mountainair Sunflower Festival, and The Canyon Road Summer Walk, as well as sharing stages connected to artists like Lukas Nelson.
DBGomez and the Bosque Boys are a regular presence across New Mexico’s top venues, including Rumor Brewing, Sawmill Market, Tractor Brewing (Nob Hill & Wells Park), Marble Westside Taproom, Mineshaft Cantina, Canteen Brewhouse, Boxing Bear, and many more.
Based in Albuquerque, DBGomez performs in solo, duo, trio, and full band formats, delivering high-energy, song-driven sets built for listening rooms, dance floors, and festival stages alike.

DBGomez & The Bosque Boys brings together some of New Mexico’s most seasoned roots musicians. Fronting the group is DBGomez, longtime accordionist of Felix y Los Gatos fame, blending Americana, blues, zydeco, country, and borderland sounds into his signature “Squeezebox Americana” style. Chris Chavez, known from Good Green and Violet Rising, adds soulful guitar work and roots-rock textures. On bass is longtime blues veteran J.D. Sipe, a respected musician and folk artist whose connection to the New Mexico blues scene stretches back decades. Behind the kit, Mikey Jaramillo of Felonious Groove Foundation brings deep funk grooves and powerful rhythm. Together they deliver a danceable mix of original songs, blues, Americana, zydeco rhythms, and Southwestern soul—performed by musicians who have spent decades earning their stripes on stages across New Mexico and beyond.
